Performance

Competing in BUCS Premier South A, UBRFCS 1s are consistently pushing to compete in Super Rugby. Having won cups and league competitions over the past few years, we aim to further invest in resources, build our partnership with Bristol Bears and drive performance to the next level as we strive to achieve our goal of becoming a Top 10 University team. Alongside the BUCS competition, the 1st XV regularly play traditional Maroon Fixtures vs the Navy, Army and Oxford University amongst others.

Competing in Western Tier 1A, the 2XV are looking to emulate their recent highly successful season, in which they remained unbeaten at home and won the league. The team continue to provide a pathway that allows high performing players to move into the 1st XV setup, whilst maintaining their own high standards with regards to match day performance, training and personal conduct.
